So today is Wednesday and that means that I was off. It's nice having that day off from work to get things done around the house, run errands, make appointments, rest, but best of all...visit my momma! That's what I did today. I have been having a big problem with some things at work lately and I needed my mothers comfort and advice...no one gives advice like a mom. So...I got in my car a!!!nd traveled to Elizabethtown to seek the answers I needed. When I got there...like always, my mom was there with her arms wide open ready to give me a hug! So...the tears flowed, the "listening ears" were on, and I got the answers I needed! Yay for moms!
Then she took me to her store and we made a beautiful wreath for my door for Spring! It made me feel much better. After we were done there, we decided that the best thing to do to brighten my day was to get my niece (Taylor) and nephew (Jacob) and take them to McDonald's and eat lunch and just play with them. It was such a nice day and things couldn't have gotten better...but they could get worse...ugh.
I got a phone call from my husband and he told me that something else is wrong with his car. This car that has cost us quite a bit of money in the past couple of months...over $6500 to be exact!!! Oh well...anyways...to make a long story short his parents are on their way here to check out the car and see what needs to be done and I am cooking supper to thank them!! Oh goodness...the saying "when it rains, it pours" has never been more true! I'm just glad to get my feelings out in this blog.
